3. Never think that you cannot be beaten. Even a witch who can turn into a dragon can be brought down by one determined prince on a horse.
4. Nip prophecies, and/or those prophesied about, in the bud, not when they have time to mature and come back to bite you in the ass.
5. Do not judge people by how they present themselves--appearances are often deceiving.
6. Do not be ruled by jealousy and envy. It clouds judgment and makes you make inane choices.
7. Pleasure and decadent debauchery are all very well, but pursuing them ceaselessly makes you weak.
8. Everyone has a weak spot. Everyone. The good guys, the bad guys. Guard yours and learn theirs, and use it to your advantage.
9. When attempting to usurp a throne, as it were, get rid of the heirs first rather than letting them grow up, find heroes, become heroes, or what have you to overthrow you.
10. Conquering the world takes a lot of work and careful planning, not some grand, mad scheme, and basing it on mystical objects is not your wisest course if you've no back up plan. Megalomania rarely will serve you well, as it makes you blind. See #3.
