Stepping off the plane Rachel had already given Vaughn the phone with the memory card that held all the client information from the mark. Anyone that had ever done business with that syndicate now was about to be flagged in their database. Thankfully she'd actually managed to get a few hours of sleep on the plane, but it was barely enough. The drive to her condo felt like it took forever, but soon enough she was parking in the driveway. She didn't even rummage through her glove box for the clicker to get into the garage. Who cared if she parked in her own driveway? There was no getting of her bags out of the trunk, just grabbing her purse and house keys out of the front pocket.

She was already shrugging out of her jacket by the time she reached the door, and once the door was open she'd toe heeled off one shoe and was happily onto the other. The keys were dropped atop her jacket that was now on the floor. Shoes scattered nearly equal distance from each other before she'd peeled her shirt off over her head and discarded that onto the floor. Jeans came off in the middle of the hallway as she yawned inwardly shrugging her shoulders a bit as she stretched her back before finally making it into her bedroom.

Sark had gotten in on the 7PM flight, rented a car, and made his way to Rachel's. He'd had an actual assignment, plus his own special project, so he had been busy since he last saw her, and nonetheless, he still felt like time had dragged. He stopped at the market for food for breakfast, not sure what she might have, and a florist's for a bouquet of roses. Letting himself in, he felt the slightest flicker of nervousness, mostly because surprises weren't exactly something everyone liked. Still, it wasn't like he'd be jumping out at her or anything, so hopefully neither of them would end up shot.

He tossed his jacket on the back of the couch, then moved to the bedroom. A shower and takeout did exceptionally well for reviving him, but he knew she wouldn't be home still for hours. He amused himself with late night TV for a while, then worked to set the scene. The roses went in a vase by the bed, and more than a few candles were scattered around. Sheets turned down, two glasses of wine poured--and one drunk, then poured again. He wasn't sure if she would sleep at all coming back, or be exhausted and just want to sleep, so he had bath salts ready should she want a bath, and warmed up some massage oil should she be at all tense. If all she wanted was bed, candles were easily extinguished, he figured and anything more sensual could come in the evening. It was always hard to judge post-mission needs, depending on the mission, the adrenaline, the amount of sleep gotten and the person, and that wasn't a read he had on her at all beyond Brazil. Then again, that had been after a long flight for both of them as well, if fewer time zones for her, so. He was prepared, whatever the eventuality. And stretched out on her bed with his glass of wine reading David Baldacci's newest thriller and plotting how he'd do it differently were he the protagonist.

She had seen the flicker of light against the wall but really wasn't sure if she could trust her own vision given the lack of sleep. Which also made her question if she should've driven home, but that was beside the point now since she was already home. Of course entering her bedroom in stocking feet, bra and underwear to find Julian in her bed wasn't a bad thing, but it also wasn't what she'd been expecting either. Her hand instantly went to her hair, pushing part of it up against her scalp almost making sure she had tugged it out of the pony tail before, which the looseness told her she had. Taking in a deep breath she rested her head against the door frame, her features softening at the sight of him, "So I thought we said dinner."

He folded the page down on the book and set it aside as he leaned back a bit against the pillows. She looked tired, but she was home, and safe, and that made a little touch of tension he'd been carrying ease. Promises to be safe...often didn't matter, really. He gave her a slow smile, and a little shrug. "I found that I couldn't wait that long," he said. "Besides, I got in this evening and it seemed far preferable to surprise you than hang out in yet another hotel room..." He glanced at the flowers and wine. "Have a drink, or are you completely exhausted and just want to sleep?"

Her eyes followed his taking note of the flowers and the glass of wine he'd set out for her. It put a flutter in her stomach a bit letting her fingertips draw across her chest a bit as she pushed off the door frame and headed toward the foot of the bed. Climbing onto the bed she eased her way until she was curled up against him her head resting on his chest. Her fingertips traced against his chest, "For a moment I just want this. Then we'll see what I'm still awake for, but right now you right here is exactly what I needed."

He smiled, sliding his arms around her, turning his head to kiss the top of her head gently. He snuggled back down into the bed, closing his eyes and slowly teased his fingers through her hair, twisting the strands in and out between them. "Your wish is my command, then," he murmured, with a half laugh. "I'm here for whatever you need."

There was a slight bit of laughter coming from her at his remark, muffled against his chest as she curled in closer to him. Shutting her eyes she swears it's just for a moment letting her breathing slow and feel more relaxed. "Fourteen hours on a plane, and this is my reward," she murmured against where she was resting. "I should fly places far far away more often." She was teasing and as she took another deep breath inward she flooded her senses with the smell of him, the warmth of his body and just the clean smell he had seemed perfect. "Mmm... you used my shampoo. I can smell it on you."

Sark kept his fingers moving, sliding them through her hair, down her neck and over her shoulders, then starting over in slow, soothing movements. If his mind started calculating all the places it could have taken her fourteen hours to fly, he figured it couldn't really be helped. Natural, that, and to compare it against various intel he had and try to narrow it down. He didn't even do it intentionally, but more as an exercise of sorts, a bit of a game in his head to figure out if he could work it out. Not that she would likely verify it so he would probably never know unless something went out about being hit. He shifted his attention fully back on her, ignoring the slightly sick feeling in his stomach at the thought of her doing this more often. He really preferred her working the tech, being brilliant and doing things only she could do rather than out where bullets tended to fly through the air, but considering where he put himself, usually, he couldn't really say anything. But it bothered him. Not knowing, if only to ... no. She was right not to trust him with the information. But it made him feel a touch helpless, and he wondered if she felt the same. With Allison, with Lauren, he'd at least known what they were doing and where, and had been there more than once to be back up even without the assignment. He couldn't do that for Rachel, and he wasn't ashamed to admit he didn't like it. But he smiled at her words, pressing a kiss to her head again.

"I ran out and didn't feel like stopping to pick more of mine up." That it reminded him of her was not something he was going to confess to at this point. He really needed to retain some sort of bad boy image or he'd lose all credibility.

Rachel nodded, not even wanting to give him a hard time for it, well maybe a tiny bit. But it was comforting to have a familiar scent close to her, and paired with the body the scent was attached to she was rather fond of both things at the moment. As her arm draped across him she smiled pulling herself against him once more as she shifted up a bit to rest her chin atop his shoulder, before leaning in to press a kiss to the curve of his neck. Smiling against the warmth of his skin she sighed contentedly, "Thank you." It was the only thing she could actually get her mouth to commit to saying despite all the other words that she knew had slowly begun to matriculate into actual thoughts and emotions. Thinking anything beyond a simple thank you for him being there, for knowing that after nearly a day spent on a plane with both flights there and back that she'd be far happier with him at her side, felt a bit too panic inducing.

His lips curved into another smile as he shifted just a bit to brush a soft kiss across her lips. "You're welcome," he murmured. "I just didn't want to..." Spend yet another night alone. "Wait." His fingers curled lightly around the back of her neck, slowly teasing over her skin. "Though, really, all I did was be here. With wine. And flowers..." His voice took on the lightly teasing note to deflect a bit from the almost confession he wasn't nearly ready to let slip out. "And candles...and massage oil...if you like that sort of thing..." His fingers wandered down her arm, touching as if memorizing her again, needing to re-learn what he hadn't forgotten at all. Ducking his head he nuzzled a bit at her temple, and finally let the words slip out. "I missed you."

There was a few moments where she couldn't help but smile as he rattled off the various things that he'd done aside from simply being there when she hadn't expected him to be. The ghosting of his fingertips across her arm paired with his admission made her pull her breath in deep as she lay beside him, "All good things. Though right now I'm going to have to pry myself from your side.. though reluctantly let me tell you, and go brush my teeth and change. Because while I'm sure you're loving me in my bra and panties I can't sleep in that." Shifting up to seated she smiled at him, "Of course I might not sleep, but I at least need to brush my teeth." Sliding off the bed she moved to the bathroom and actually saw that he hadn't been teasing her that there were things in her bathroom that hadn't been there when she left and she smiled with a slight pout of cuteness at how simply adorable Julian was. Not that she'd ever tell him that, because really he might stop if she labeled him with that sort of a term. Shoving her toothbrush into her mouth and brushing she moved back into her bedroom to grab a tank top from a dresser drawer and returned to the bathroom to spit into the sink rinsing the foam down before turning the water off again. Still brushing she paused, holding the brush in her mouth while she took her bra off and tugged the tank top on over her head. Setting her bra on the sink she spit once more and cupped water into her hand to rinse her mouth out before washing the toothbrush off and setting it back in the cup near the sink. She almost thought it would be cute if Julian had a toothbrush there as well, but pushed that thought away rather quickly.

Returning to the bedroom she made her way to his side of the bed first leaning over him and pressing a kiss to his mouth that lingered a bit before pulling away, "See... minty and that taste will not go good with wine at all, but it seems to go really well with you."

He smiled a bit to himself when she moved to the bathroom, watching what he could see of the nightly routine and reaching to finish his glass of wine while she brushed and changed. Though really, he thought she could have just left off the tank top even, and sent the panties to join the bra, and that worked well for sleeping, too. But he didn't say that. He tilted his head to watch her move back to him, lips curving into a bit of a smirk. He kissed her back with a flicker of another smile, then lightly wound his fingers up into her hair to pull her back against his lips for another kiss after she pulled away. His other hand settled on her waist, lightly tugging her down onto his lap, palm sliding back around to press against her lower back. Breaking the kiss after a moment he smiled again and murmured, "If we're not finishing the wine, perhaps I should work on the minty, as well..."

Settling onto his lap Rachel smirked down at him, tugging her hair away from his face and over her shoulder winding it loosely together, "Well you could share my minty for a bit and maybe after you've taken some of it away I will have some wine. I just knew that the fourteen hour flight hadn't exactly helped. And what with you being so helpful for my return home I figured it was the least I could do." Meeting his eyes Rachel let her hand stray into his hair, fingertips splaying against the back of his neck casually before leaning in to kiss him again. It was easy to fall in with him, letting her mouth part to his and her hand to thread into his hair as her body shifted. She slid with a bit of grace off his lap onto the other side of him, her legs carried over his tucking beside her. Her other hand reached to his shoulder in an attempt to pull him toward her, in the midst of their kiss. Pulling away she smiled, words spoken softly against his lips, "See now you're almost minty."

Sark moved with her as she tugged, rolling to his side and shifting close to her, running a hand lightly down her side to settle on the curve of her hip. His thumb lightly brushed back and forth over her skin as he propped himself up on one elbow watching her for a moment before kissing her slowly, part of him feeling like it had been ages since he had pressed close to her like this, tasted her. He knew it was the first flush of infatuation, of obsession, or that's how he rationalized it. That point where you needed, couldn't keep hands off each other...there was a name for it probably. He couldn't care about that at the moment, when she was close and fit against him as if she were made to go there. Which was another thought he likely shouldn't be having. "Almost," he agreed instead. "We could work on making me more minty until we even it out a bit more...." He slid his hand up her side and into her hair, kissing her again with a sigh as he shifted to press her back into the pillows and mattress.

As she was pressed into the mattress a bit Rachel let her leg spindle up to wrap around his waist, pulling him atop her more securely as a stocking foot pressed against his leg a bit. Her body shifted a bit beneath him as her hands wound up around his shoulders, as she smiled up at him, "I think that is a fantastic plan of action." Leaning up to him Rachel pressed her mouth to his letting her back arch pressing her chest up against his, to feel that press of him against her. The fourteen hour flight barely felt like a burden, and maybe if he hadn't been in her bed she would've just slipped under the covers and fallen asleep. Now though he seemed to bring her to life, to spark her in a way that really she'd been missing for so long that now that she had it she was afraid to let it go. Against his mouth she smiled, her kiss deepening as her hands pulled through his hair and down against his shoulders. Pulling back for a moment she raised an eyebrow, "Minty enough?"

He settled against her, holding his weight up with one hand as he smirked down at her a bit. He could feel the heat of her through the soft cotton of the pajama pants he'd been lounging in when she got home. As much as he wanted to let everything be all about her, after her trip, he couldn't deny that the feel of her against him was having an effect. "Getting there," he said with a sweet smile, tilting his head to brush his lips along her jaw, which wasn't minty at all, but was right there asking to be kissed, to be savored. His tongue eased down her neck as his fingers tangled in her hair, lightly encouraging her to tilt her head for him. He brushed his lips over her pulse, then nibbled back up to her lips, kissing her deeply, tongue teasing over hers before he lifted his head watching her. "You are so beautiful..." A smile curved his lips again as he ran a hand down along the backside of the leg she'd wound around him. "Just how tired are you?"

Tilting her head back was not an issue at all, in fact she rather enjoyed the attention he seemed to lavish to her even when they were in the slightest regards. The kiss he returned to her mouth with caught her breath for a moment, making her heart race a bit as her leg tightened around his waist trying to pull him closer to her. She could taste the linger of her toothpaste against the heavier taste of wine that was still present against his tongue. It was enough of him in the moment and still made her ache for more. When he spoke she couldn't help but look up at him with eyes that held such emotion for him that she knew her words wouldn't back up just yet, and as his fingertips brushing against her leg she couldn't help but smirk up in reply. "Well by my math, which I'm very good at, I did actually sleep for a few hours on the plane, so I'm not nearly as tired as I should be." Leaning up she pressed her mouth to his kissing him once more, and pulling away slightly, with a daring raise of her eyebrow, "Plus you seem to have a slight problem with that I'm not going to move my leg at all, so you should just fuck me now, because I probably won't let you out of this bed until you do anyway."

"You're going to have to move your leg just a bit for me to get these pants off," he said with a teasing smile, his stomach flipping a little bit at her words, her request. "But I think that can be arranged..." He shifted a little, fingers curling around her ankle to ease her leg back from around him. He pulled away from her just to undo the drawstring of his pants and push them off, kicking them off onto the floor. Reaching for her panties, he stripped them off of her before he shifted back against her, fingers around her ankle again to pull her leg back around him so they were back as they had been, but with nothing between them now. Running his fingers through her hair, he ducked his head and kissed her, finally letting the hunger rise that he'd been trying to keep in check since she'd walked through the door. He rocked against her a little, not wanting to just take, but feeling every second they had been apart and wanting nothing more but to finally, truly be back with her with an intensity that made his breath catch on a moan.

She pouted up at him at his pointing out that she would actually have to move her leg, but thankfully he did it with a lack of effort. Her hands tugged her tank top up over her head and soon enough she could feel herself pressed against him. It was a flush of heat that rose to the skin between her breasts at knowing he was against her and that nothing was between them. Fourteen hours on a plane and now she had him resting between her thighs with his weight against her and his mouth nearly feeding upon hers. His kiss took on a new intensity as it surged upon her mouth, and she took in his tongue and the passion behind it all and truly sank into it with him. Feeling the rock of his hips she returned it with a slight shift upward of her own, just to press her heat against him to let him know that despite the long trip and the wear of travel that a few moments alone with him and he truly did have an affect on her that was physical. The emotional aspect of it was there, but the way to show that wasn't exactly something she was ready for. So instead she put more emphasis on the physical because that was something she knew they both did well. Her hands ran against the nape of his neck, teasing at the short hair that lay there then down between shoulder blades and against his spine for a moment holding him there close to her, as she shifted her hips up against him again. Just even the slight pressure from him to her was turning her on even more, sparking a smile to curve up into a smirk of satisfaction at knowing that his reaction to her was favorable as well. Parting from his lips just enough to take a breath and pause for a moment she smiled, "Mmm, you know I said it before but I figure I can safely say it again. If this is how I get treated when take fourteen hour flights I just might travel more." Though she knew she really didn't mean it but another rock of her hips against him and her mind changed gears once more, "Julian, you make me want you... I think about you all the time, and even now you're this close to me and I still want you even more."

Her words were like a bit of fire sliding down through him, and he broke the kiss to watch her for a long moment. His hand teased along her jaw, just a soft touch and smiled at her slowly, feeling things he didn't have words for yet, but knowing it was something more that he wanted to say. He kissed her softly, hips rocking a bit more insistently against her, a dichotomy of gentle versus not. "All I could think about the whole time I was away was wanting to be back here, like this, with you. It kept me up nights..." In more ways than one his smirk said before he kissed her again, sliding a hand between them to adjust himself and find her entrance, pressing slowly into her with a low moan, eyes fluttering shut to sink into the sensation of her all around him. As much as he might have been aching for her, he was less urgent than hungry to feel her. He moved slowly until he was buried fully in her, eyes opening then to watch her, fingers lightly tracing her cheek again before he lowered his head to kiss her as he rocked, pressing deeper into her, then retreating just as slowly as he had entered her.

Each press of his mouth softly to hers was met with a gentle upward shift of her hips to press her heat against him more firmly, already feeling that slight slickness to her self, knowing how much she wanted him and how he felt pressed hard against her was sending small tremors of anticipation to her core. His words caught her breath hitched up high in her lungs, and the smirk teasing against his smile was reflected in the way her eyes shone up at him as well. She felt the brush of fingertips against her inner thighs and that feigning moment as his body shifted between her legs. Feeling him ease into her she couldn't help but rock her hips upward to aid in his motions into her, she couldn't muffle the cry of pleasure that came from feeling him press deep into her. All the anticipation making her tighter, and his subtle motion into her drawing the sound out of her in a staggered plea of wanting more of him. His kiss was met on parted lips that ached to say his name, but instead found simple moans slipping free and sharp breaths drawn in against his mouth as she felt him withdraw with just as much ease. When he began into her again she murmured his name softly as her fingernails raked across his shoulders, in some half-attempt to pull him into her faster, just so she could feel him buried in her once more. Feeling his hips press against her thighs firmly she spindled her legs around his waist tighter, a smirk playing at her features trying to simply hold him within her just for a moment. A deep kiss slipping against his mouth and lingering before parting for a heavy pant of air. Her mouth dragged against his jaw and up close to his ear, where words whispered were meant just for him, "I love how you feel within me, how you move, how you taste when I kiss you."

He shivered a bit at her words, eyes falling shut as he paused buried inside her, pressed close, just to let words and sensation linger. Part of him felt that he could stay right there forever, joined and one, without anything between them. For all that part of his body begged him to move, screamed for the friction with a fevered insistence, the part that craved the intimacy of the connection won for that moment. He tilted his head for her whisper, then ducked his head again to nibble along her jaw to her ear in response. There were words that pressed at his lips in response, words more about emotion than the physical, all the little things that drew him to her in ways he hadn't felt in what felt like a long time. "I...love the way you feel around me," he murmured, shifting the words back to matching hers. "The way you fit against me, perfect in every respect." He nuzzled at her jaw, lips moving back down to her neck. His breath was caught somewhere, and he had to force himself to breathe as he felt himself throb inside of her. His hips rocked, just a little, refusing to withdraw, to pull out of her heat. Instead, he pulsed, rocking in a slower rhythm. One hand slid to her hip, cradling it, keeping her against him as he captured her lips again in a soft, lingering kiss, lips moving slowly over hers.

As he stilled within her she felt her body tense in response, trying to keep him there, to keep him close and against her. The way his words mirrored her own, she knew she'd hidden emotions she wasn't ready for within hers and her chest felt tight, stinging with the realization that she was swallowing back words just to keep her heart safe. But with him within her, and his hand at her side and his words echoing in her mind she felt safe. As he shifted with such a near subtle motion within her she eased her hips against him, her lower back pressing into the bed more just to lift herself to him more, to allow him deeper within her. She ached for that completion, for that moment when there was no doubt, no moment of panic or fear, just him and her together. His kiss was so much more than the ones of before, it hovered and drew her lips against his with a near caution. She could almost feel him not wanting to let her get hurt, to protect her from what neither of them could deny. Her mouth met his with that same fervor, that same ease and moment of comfort. Parting from his kiss and still holding him and his motions slowed within her her hands brushed against his cheeks, and cradled against his jawline, meeting his eyes, truly looking at him for a moment. Her thumb strayed across his cheek again, lightly as her mouth parted to take in a soft gasp at his movement against her once more. Her mouth reached for his again, a soft brush of her lips to his before she eased back to meet his eyes once more, she could feel her stomach tensing more than she was against his motions into her. Feeling something that she wasn't even sure of for herself, but looking at him, and knowing what he'd done simply for her, what he would've done it was building up into a heady combination of emotions that she wasn't sure was good after a fourteen hour flight. She didn't want to be able to take it back because of that either, to dismiss it from lack of sleep, but she wasn't really going to shy away from something at the moment either. Her head eased to the side, tilting a bit up at him with a smile, "I love the way you look at me, the way you say my name..." she knew she was buying herself time but the word was out there, between them both, and if she said it, if she could admit it paired along with emotions she knew she was feeling it wouldn't be any less true. Her hand shifted up tucking fingertips behind his ear, as she took a breath and smiled for a moment even sort of amazed at the entire situation, "I love all of that, because I'm falling in love with you Julian."

[Continued If he hadn't been still already, he would have stilled at that.]
