I never knew my biological mother, not even her name, so. Ten things about the woman I always thought of as a mother.

1. She was brilliant.
2. She was ruthless.
3. She didn't let anything get in the way of her objectives, not even her own emotions.
4. She made me feel like a valuable asset.
5. She trusted me to keep her organization running at a very young age.
6. She taught me most of what I know and gave me the tools to survive on my own.
7. She was lonely.
8. She never stopped missing her daughters.
9. She let obsession cloud her judgment, in the end.
10. She died far too young.
