Rachel

- She was willing to meet me for drinks in the first place.
- She came back the next night.
- For some reason she seems willing to actually pursue a relationship with me, despite the risks and everything I've done to her and her friends.
- She hasn't given me up to her friends.
- She's beautiful.
- She's brilliant.
- She's very clear in what she wants and has no problems going after it.
- She has a nice family. I didn't realize those really existed. I am still mildly suspicious, but.
- She makes me feel like I could belong somewhere, sometime.
- She is incredibly responsive in bed, and complimentary as well.
- Her smile lights up any room she enters.
- She generally seems to get the snark and smart ass bits, even when directed at her friends.
- She hasn't asked me to give up what I do, despite the problems it could create for us.
- She's very easy to surprise.
- She hasn't arrested me.
- She lets me take care of her when we're together, and doesn't yell when I worry.

- She's beautiful.
- She accepts me for who I am without judging.
- She's strong. I like that in a woman.
- She has this need to protect me. It's...new, but not at all unattractive.
- She grasps the appeal of certain sorts of violence.
- She's different than others I've known.

- She gets my sense of humor.
- She likes the smart ass bits rather than hitting me for them.
- I think she might be willing to hurt Michael. That's always a nice thing to find in a woman.
- She has a certain vulnerability that pulls at a side of me I didn't think still existed.
- She is actually capable of making me be silly. I don't normally do silly. But it's sort of fun.
- She makes me laugh, in the good ways I don't do enough of.
- Her hair. It is made for touching, playing with.

Lauren

- She's ambitious
- She's domineering.
- She's deliciously filthy.
- She's willing to address certain proclivities of mine.
- She chose me over Michael. That is a sign of brilliant good taste.
- She is stunning.
- She's a brilliant actress.
- She keeps me off balance, which is disconcerting, but also surprisingly fabulous.
- She grasps the concept of a workable endgame.
- Her ambition is not blind.
- She's a very good partner in the field.
- She understands the thrill of a good kill, and the...rush after.
- She knows how to play off of people's strengths and weaknesses.
- I can still surprise her.
